This project is an impressive example of how the original charm of historic architecture can be preserved while simultaneously creating a contemporary living experience. The deliberate use of authentic materials and high-quality craftsmanship demonstrates great respect for the building's history.
Project Highlights:
• Herringbone parquet: A timeless flooring that exudes elegance and warmth.
• Bronzed metal railings: Add a modern touch to the staircase without disrupting its classic feel.
• High-quality joinery: Custom-made fixtures that combine functionality and aesthetics.
• Solid natural stone countertops in the kitchen: Combined with a carefully coordinated color palette, they create a luxurious yet inviting atmosphere.
I was privileged to help shape this project as part of the interior design team at the Zurich-based architecture and design studio IDA14. I had the opportunity to actively support project management as well as design development and implementation.
